Hello,

I would like to find out how I can set up my MS Outlook to blind cc incoming
messages to a second email account. I would like to have the recipient of
the original email reply back to my primary email address with a copy sent to
a second email address without the recipient’s knowledge.

I currently have Version 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2 Build 2600.

Define a rule to forward it.

Vanguardx,

Can you provide me step by step instructions? I have never created a rule
before and when I used the office assistant to look up "how do I create a
rule" I could not determine which option to start with. (I am not well
versed in outlook.)

Thanks!

- Tools -> Rules Wizard menu.
- New.
- Start from blank rule.
- Next.
- Next (since you didn't mention any criteria, so apply it to all).
- Forward it to <contact>.
- Pick a contact (you'll need a contact defined for yourself.)
- Stop processing more rules.
- Next.
- Next (since, again, you mention no criteria).
- Name it and make sure "Turn on this rule" is enabled.

Rules are exercised in the order they are listed. You weren't specific
as to what you wanted to do so without the details then the rule is just
as non-specific.

If you are running Exchange then make sure this is a server-side rule
that runs on Exchange (talk to the Exchange admin on server-side rules).
If you are running Outlook against POP3/SMTP servers then obviously this
rule only gets exercised when Outlook is running (and when new messages
get received).
