How do I get the DAYS of the week to display in the daily and we.

it is annoying not to see the day reference along with the date in the
calendar view for the day and the week. It does display the day in the
monthly view.
Is this a setting or is it the program.

Control Panel->Regional Settings, set your long date format there to include
dddd.
