How do I get rid of the Favorites Window?

Just upgraded to Outlook 2003. How do I get rid of the Favorites Window on
the left pane? It's just a repeat of All Mail Folders just below it, so
takes up space.

You can't. You can switch to the Folder list view - Ctrl+6 or click the
folder button at the bottom.

If you have more than just the default folders, add them to the favorites
list - or make some search folders and add them to the list. It really makes
it easier to find your folders once you get used to it.
