A week or so ago, I noticed that on logging on to Internet Explorer my usual home page had been changed to http://find4u.net/indexa.htm
Also in my 'Favourites' list were the following,
FREE HIDDEN CAMS WORLD,
FREE SPY CAM
FREE WEB CAM CHATS
GET THIS FOR FREE
HIDDEN CAMS WORLD
I went into 'Tools', 'Internet Options' and deleted the 'home page address' re-inserting my original home page. I deleted all cookies, deleted all files and cleared history then came out of 'Tools' and then deleted one by one the offending entries on my 'Favourites List'.

All appeared fine except that the next time I switched on the computer and logged onto Internet Explorer, the offending home page and Favourites were back.

I have tried searching the complete C drive including hidden files for any files named or with the embedded titles (find4u.net etc)in them so that I might delete them but the search proved fruitless except to find them in Favourites (if I had not deleted them first).

Have you any suggestions on how I might resolve this and to prevent other unwanted macros popping things up when I log on from entering my PC when I am on line?

Get some spyware, such as Ad Aware, Spybot and many others.
