I havea monitor that has a native resolution of 1369 X 768. In widescreen
viewing powerpoint has black borders on both sieds of the slideshow.

All depends on your hardware set up. First, does your video card support
the widescreen (16 X 9) setup natively. If so make the appropiate changes
in the settings and you are good to go. However, If you play this
presentation on a regular screen (4 X 3) it will either distort the slide or
crop it on the sides.

You may also set PowerPoint's page set up to something that matchs your
screen (assuming the video card supports it.) Again playing this pressie on
regular screens will create issues.
