how do i get my # for microsoft?

got an email the other down and tried to open it...message came up that i had the put in my licensing # for micro soft? Anyone know what they are talking about? Where do i find my #? I never got to read the email

Microsoft NEVER sends an Email requesting the Product Key or other
personal information such as credit card number as this and similar
schemes want.
Delete the Email immediately.
