How do I get my email notifications to show?

I have all of the appropriate boxes checked under options, but when I minimze
outlook, my notifications do not show up when an email is sent. Is there
any help for that?

Outlook doesn't present a notification with its tray icon on e-mail
*sent*. It notifies of new e-mails *received*.
