How do I get my DVD drive to eject my bad DVD-RW?

I wanted to use Nero to re-fromat a DVD-RWwqhch I had difficulty
formating on my Home DVR. Nero froze my PC and now I can't eject the
DVD out. Can anyone help ?

Reboot the computer and as it is starting up push the eject button on the
drive. If that doesn't work, then with the computer turned off use a
straightened paperclip and push the end of it in the little hole on the
front of the drive.

Take a paper clip and use one end to insert it into the small hole located
on the DVD front panel and gently push to open the tray.
