to connect automatically when I click on IE

In Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | Connections and
click "Always dial my default connection".
and also to get it to auto sign
off when I close out IE?
Thanks

I'm sorry, but I don't know of any way to do that.

I have a compaq and a pavilion laptop,. The compaq is about 3 years old. I
click on IE and it prompts me to dial up the internet commection. When I
close IE it asks me if I want to close the connection. Perfect.

So this week, I get a new pavillion laptop, set up the connection, same as
the other, best I can tell. I click on IE, it complains that it cannot
resolve the server. No handy dialog to use to make the comnection. Not
Perfect. If I go to Connect to and choose the commection there (its the
default) I get connected. But it's more of a hassle than getting the dial-up
dialog by clicking on IE. Any idea what I did wrong?

I don''t want to automatically dial. I would like to get the dialog when I
click on IE.
