How do i get my CD Key out?

Hi, I have to reformat my PC and I have my project 2000 set up disk,
unfortunately, I have lost the case and consequently, the cd key - i know it
is in the PC somewhere, in some regisrty or other - does anyone know how to
find it? - My op sys is Windows 2000 .... many thanks,
