How do I get limited account to open?

As administrator of XP Home, I created a limited account for a friend who
will be using my system, and then rebooted. But when I click on the new
account in the Welcome screen, I get the message: "Windows cannot log you on
because your profile cannot be loaded." What more do I need to do?

Why did you re-boot? Sounds like you re-booted before Windows had a
chance to complete making the account. I don't think there is a reason
to reboot.

Delete the account, then add it again. This time don't reboot. Just
come completely out of all the dialog boxes properly.
