How do I get labels to print sequentiallty across not down the pag

I need to print my labels horizontally not vertically so that the next record
is below not next to the preceding one. Any thoughts?

there's no easy way to achieve this in a Word mailmerge (I assume that's
what you are working with): a table has a strict order: row by row, and
in each row, cell by cell.
