How do I get Acrobat Reader to shutup?

Sygate personal firewall is constantly popping up and telling me that
acrobat reader 6.0 is trying to access the network. There is a little
box to check that supposedly will end this continuing cycle. I check
it, but it keeps popping up.

Is the problem in Sygate or in Acrobat reader? I'm going batty with
this constant reminding. Apparently once Acrobat reader is opened
just one time, it STAYS opened, even when the file is closed. Doing a
C-A-D shows it to be running.

Maybe that's the answer, to somehow get Acrobat to REALLY shut down
when a .pdf file is closed.

Make sure autoupdate is turned off.
