How do I get a program to execute when I boot

I posted this question before and I did not understand the replys. I have
backup software that I want to start when I boot. Now I have to start it
manually. Please be specific. Thank You
 
Try the control panel "Schedule Tasks", click Schedule Task Wizard and
follow the instructions.

Note: I never used it because I never needed so I can't say any more than

At boot? Well, it would need to run as a service.
At *startup,* after you log in? Put it in your startup group.

Much depends on your backup software, really.
