How do I get a Front Page htm to fit on smaller monitors?

I'm new to Front Page 2003. I am responsible for updating a web site and am
having a tough time getting it sized right to fit smaller monitors. I
realize this is the ABC level, but I really need to get this going.

Thanks,
Liz

The question is: Is the screen resolution of the smaller monitor set the same as the larger
monitor.

My point is, if a 17 inch monitor and a 12 inch monitor both have the screen resolution set at 800
by 600,the page will display fully in both without scrollbars.

True the content will appear smaller in the 12 inch monitor but it will all be there.

That said, design your pages inside tables. A fixed width table set at 760 pixels will display the
same in all sizes ( however there will be empty space to the right on monitors set at "higher
resolutions"

A table set at 100% width will expand a contract to fit any monitor resolution. However, it can
cause content to "shift around" as it resizes.

Thanks for the info. It works at 760, but shows up very small. What do you
think about using a percentage (say 80%)? If I choose to use a percentage,
I'm assuming the table properties are set to 80%, and the cell properties sum
to 100%?

Thanks,
Liz

Correct, but make sure your image width do not exceed the smallest browser windows opening you
expect your users to be using, as the table will always be as wide as the widest content that can
not wrap.
