I have filled in the Outgoing server with stmp.mail.yahoo.co.uk, .com and
..net but none of them are accepted. when I ask Yahoo! they tell me to get
ISP's info, but it's BT broadband, and they don't support email.

The correct setting is smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk and you have to
authenticate the smtp server in your mail account settings (ie log on
with your username and password). It certainly works, because I'm on
Eclipse Broadband and I have no trouble sending yahoo mail through yahoo
smtp.

Check your server setting - or was that a typo in your post - stmp?

Perhaps Yahoo UK have stopped doing this - I certainly haven't been notified
that they have.

Just done a test mail - still working for me.
