How do I find out the total number of emails in the Sent folder?

The Sent folder in my Outlook 2002 is the only folder which doesn't indicate
how many messages it contains.

Can I set it so that it keeps a running total?

Or can I find out how many there are some other way?

Thanks.

With the status bar enabled, clicking on the Sent Items folder should show
you the total number of items. Also, if you right-click Sent Items and
choose Properties, there should be an option to display either the total
number of items or the number of read items. Selecting the former should
give you what you want.

Brian,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, I can see the total in the status bar. I would like it to be next to
the folder.

Sorry, my last reply was truncated!

I would like the total to be indicated next to the folder, if possible.

Right clicking and choosing Properties doesn't seem to give me any option
to do this....unless I'm going blind! ;-)

Thanks.

Inadvertently, I tested using OL 2003 instead of 2002. The radio buttons
were immediately the large "Description" text field. Perhaps OL 2002
doesn't have the option and I don't have access to an OL 2002 machine at the
moment.

Following Brian's directions, that's where it appears in Outlook 2003. What
version are you using?
