how do I find out if I have that worm

I have gone to every page on the internet that my
internet carrier said to go to and I still can not make
any since of all this I just want to know how to check
this coumpter for it. I have windows xp. I have been to
Microsoft and that tells you to much and I just got
windows xp and have not learned how it works yet give me
back my good old 95 I think.
