How do I find my worksheet tabs?

For some reason, every couple days my worksheet tabs disappear. I don't click
anything specific or make any changes that I know of and then I open excel
one day and they are missing again! They aren't hidden because I've double
checked all that and have tried using "Help" many times. If anyone has any
suggestions, please help me!

Office Button top left corner > Excel Options > Advanced > select show sheet
tabs > OK out

I don't think I have ever heard of this problem before. Can you give us some
more information to aid are search for an answer? When the tabs go missing,
is the rest of the "bar" still there? That is, can you see the 4 navigation
buttons that are normally to the left of the tabs? What about the scroll bar
to the right of the tabs, can you still see it? When the tabs go missing,
what do you do to get them to reappear?

Are you perhaps in Full Screen mode? When the sheet tabs aren't visible,
check View >> Workbook Views >>| Full Screen

Hope this helps,

Hutch

I am a new user of Excel 2007 and today I have experienced the same problem
that Sherry describes. I have tried all the remedies suggested in this thread
and none of them work. All the tabs show up if I choose Full Screen, but then
the ribbon at the top disappears and there doesn't seem to be any way to
display it.
Is there a solution that hasn't been suggested yet?

Rick- I am new to this forum, however I have some peers that are experiencing
problems when opening my excel spread sheet. The problem they are having are
certain tabs (worksheets) are not displayed or they show up upon opening and
then disappear. The spread sheet is a "shared", however when making changes I
take it out of shared mode and before I e-mail it I put it back in shared
mode. This does not happen all the time and does not happen with every user.
I am using Office 2003 as are my peers. Thank you.
