How do I establish some other news group other than "msnews.microsoft.com" ?

I like to travel..fish and be adventurous...how do I get into a travel
sight with news?

Obviously Microsoft's own news server at [ms]news.microsoft.com is only
going to be about their products. If you want a larger list of newsgroups
that cover a greater variety of topics then connect to your ISP's news
server, subscribe to a news server service, like Giganews, or hope that the
freebie news servers carry your topics and that they don't go away and don't
go down often. Check http://www.newzbot.com/ to see which freebie news
servers carry your newsgroup. Be prepared for lack of robust newsgroup
lists and lots of downtime and servers going away when using the freebies.
 
I think a dating service is what the OP is looking for.
