I want to set three pictures in a column on the left of my webpage and when I
move my mouse over it I want it to enlarge in the center of the page. How do
I go about doing this in FrontPage 2003?

Put a dummy picture in the center of the page that is the same size as the
enlarged images. Select each pic in the column and apply a swap image
behavior it to swap the dummy with the enlarged pic onMouseover.

Be aware that this is a good way to make a page get very heavy very fast....

I must be doing something wrong, the picture will swap, but only in the
colume the original picture is in.

Yes, you are doing something wrong. Make sure that TWO swaps are specified
in each column pic's behavior: one for the rollover, and one for the
disjoint swap.

I'm sorry to be so dense, but I'm a novice at this. Could you maybe recommend
a book that might help me with FrontPage 2003. I really need step-by-step
instructions on how to do this. I can make the behavior work up to a point,
but it doesn't change to a larger picture in the middle of my page. I have a
dummy picture as instructed, and I've add the behavior to both, but I'm still
not getting the effect.

I have th book "Step by Step Microsort Office FrontPage 2003", but it
doesn't say much about behaviors.

Provide a URL of the published page and explain what is not working

Imagine a page with two images on it. One is a thumb and the other is a
"dummy" image placeholder that is the same size as the enlarged image.
Let's say you have named the thumb image "thumb" and the placeholder image
"placeholder".

Select thumb and apply a swap image behavior. In the dialog panel for the
swap image behavior, you select a named image on the page, and browse to and
select the image to replace that named image, so you would select thumb, and
browse to and select the rollover image for thumb. Then you would select
placeholder, and browse to and select the rollover image for placeholder.

When you click OK, you will have applied two separate swap image actions in
the same swap image behavior. On mousing over thumb, you will see thumb
rollover *AND* you will see the larger image appear.

That wasn't so hard, was it?
