Thx for your help.. The application I was trying to run indicated that it was installing the Microsoft VM, but I suspect it did not complete because of the lawsuit outcome. I downloaded and installed the Sum JRE and am going to reboot and see if it works. Thx again

settlement, Microsoft is no longer allowed to provide its own Jav
Virtual Machine to Windows users. You can get almost the sam
functionality by downloading Sun's version of Java fro

capabilities of Microsoft's Java Virtual Machine, it is stil
