Since a few days when I delete a file or a folder in WinExplorer this is done immediately withour
a popup requesting for a delete confirmation. I must have changes this unintendedly.

How do I switch back to "delete only after confirmation" mode ?

Right click the Recycle Bin icon on desktop, Choose Properties
Tick "Display Delete confirmation dialog", Click OK

Good Luck, Ayush.

Right-click Recycle Bin
Click PROPERTIES
Check the box for DISPLAY DELETE CONFIRMATION BOX
Click APPLY
Click OK

I hope this helps,

Right-click on the Recycle Bin...'Properties'....it's the last check box.

I myself find the confirmation totally annoying and always turn it off.

Deleted files just go into the Recycle bin anyway, and I find it seems to
be that you realize you didn't want to delete whatever immediately after
clicking delete anyway.

Why do you need it? I always disable it.
It's still in the recycle bin except on removable drives.

Right-click on the Recycle Bin, click Properties, and make sure 'Display
delete confirmation dialog' has been checked.

Right click the Recycle Bin, select Properties and check the option "Display
delete confirmation dialog box".
That's all!
