How do I email a document directly out of word using outlook?

Hi--
I used to to be able to email documents via Outlook directly out of word and
adobe using thier "send" buttons. However, when I do this now, I get an
opened email window with the message body, but my signiture is missing. When
I click send again, this time in Outlook nothing happens and I freeze up.
I've downloaded all updates, etc and yet the problem continues. And yes I am
running the same versions of Outlook and Word. Any ideas out there?
 
If you need your signature, save the document, then create a new mail message and insert the saved document as an attachment.
