I want to edit a message which I previously saved as a Draft. I open the
message by double-clicking. This displays the message, but will not allow
editing. What should I do?

Maybe you could copy/paste the text to a new message?

Solutions that work for
me may not work for you

The way I do it is to double-click on the message in question which opens it
in a window, I then do any editing and click on 'Send'. That's it : )

Yea, it stumped me for awhile too until I did the above.

Thanks Chris. When you said double-clicking worked for you it got me
wondering why it didn't work for me. And then I realised I had created the
original draft message using my normal User Account, but I was now trying to
edit it while using the Administrator Account, and apparently Vista won't
let me do this! When I return to my normal account- there's no problem.
Just another Vista trap for the unwary.
Many thanks for your help.
