How do I do calculations?

I am having trouble setting up a query that will do calculations (addition
and subtraction) I've read the book, looked in help. I'm really lost.

Outlook is an *EMAIL* client, not a spreadsheet or a database
application. Repost in either an Excel group or an Access group,
depending on what you are using.

And if you took the trouble to set up a newsreader (Outlook Express does
very nicely) then you wouldn't mis-post.
