How do I disable the block deletion confirmation in Word?

Everytime I block more than one character and hit the delete key I get a
question at the bottom left of my page that asks me to confirm the deletion
(no or Yes.) Is there anyway to disable this feature??
 
In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two boxes for
WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
