how do I delete extra pages in a calendar template?

I just downloaded a 2006 calendar template from the Microsoft web. For some
reason it has extra, blank pages in it and I cannot find a way to delete them.
 
Turn on "Show paragraphs" and look for stray paragraph marks that you can
delete.
 
I've done that, but it does not delete the extra, blank pages. I also tried
deleting the page break, which draws the months up with no break, and then
re-inserting a page break; that just messes it all up.

Thank you for your help. I'm really beginning to think it's a computer
glitch that I have. I did print out the info you sent and will keeping it,
although most of it I've already tried.
