I am trying to delete a trial version of Adobe Acrobat 9, but when I try to
remove the file it tells me that Outlook is still running. I have turned
Outlook "offline" removed gadgtes on sidebar that work with Outlook and
re-started my computer but it still will not work.
What do I do to get Outlook to stop running while I delete an app that uses
it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

If you've rebooted and have not restarted Outlook (or have configured
Outlook to start it automatically) or cradled a PDA, then Outlook can't be
running.

Don't "delete" applications, uninstall them (from Control Panel |
Add/Remove Programs).
