I understand that I can drag a closed outlook email onto the task pane and
create a task from the email however the task is created without the
attachments from the email. Is there a way to automatically include the
attachments without having to copy and paste after the task has been created?

Hi Tom

Use the right mouse button when you drag an email to the Tasks Folder and
then when you release I use MOVE here as Task with Attachement. The Task
will hold the email, open the email and the attachment will be inside it.
