How do I create a Power Point Presentation with Hit Counters?

We just want to create a Power Point presentation with hit counters so as to
know how often this presentation is viewed by the various members our small
community.
Will really appreciate any comments from anybody who's got an idea.

If a single copy of the presentation (PPT or PPS) file is posted on a web
server and users view it from there, your web logs should tell you how many
times it's been accessed, though not by whom.

If there are multiple copies in circulation, each one would need to report back
to some centralized software, which turns into a considerably larger problem.
