Hi I have the problem that everytime when I try to boot up my PC i get this
blue-screen error message. Now I am trying to repair my windows installation.
Is there an easy of creating a bootable disc which will help me to solve my
problem? Thanks in advance for your help!

Chris

Have you tried booting in SAFE MODE. Restart computer and hold down F8
function key until boot menu appears. Select SAFE MODE.

How are you trying to repair the installation? The Windows CD itself is
bootable, and it's probably going to be what you need, anyway, for the
repair. Unless you've got some other method planned.

There is also a 6 floppy set you can download from Microsoft, and there are
a whole lot of bootable disk options at www.bootdisk.com.

It explains exactly what is necessary to create a bootable CD from the ISO
image. The ISO is an image of a bootable CD and just needs the correct
software to burn to CD. The resulting CD will be bootable. The XP CD burning
application does not have the capability to create CD from ISO. You will
need third party software of add-on to the XP applicatoion.
