how do i create a boot disk?--i don't have a floppy drive

I have a Windows XP computer w/o a floppy drive. I'm not sure if this is the
right group to post in, but I would like to create a boot disk from a CD-R or
RW, so that my computer can reinstall windows when the memory is wiped. If
anyone could provide me with easy, non-techincal, step-by-step instructions,
that would be appreciated. Please send an email to (e-mail address removed).

You don't need a floppy disk to re-install WinXP - simply
boot the machine from your WinXP CD after telling the
BIOS to use the CD drive as its first boot device.

Notwithstanding Pegasus's comments, if you have a machine that is
unable to boot via the cd drive then you can get the XP boot floppies
from:-

Make sure you get the correct set.
 
Make sure you fully read the question for asking him to download the
floppies.

The OP stated that he has no floppy drive.
