how do i correct the unknown error 0x80040116

My outlook through my cable connection returns the following message on
send/recieve " sending and recieving reported error (0x80040116): unknown
error 0x80040116 I have tried restarting my computer resetting my modem
settings but the problem persists???

It could also be a disk hardware error. Use Scandisk to check for errors.
