How do I correct a very slow start-up of Word 2003

While all other programs in MS Office 2003 Professional respond quickly at
start-up my Word 2003 does not. It takes up to a minute to start.

What can I do to correcr ?

all the troubleshooting areas (Normal.dot, Registry, add-ins, printer
driver) even if you don't think they seem to apply.
