How do I contact Microsoft about the status of an order?

I ordered a copy of SP-3 on Feb 23, 2009. I received my credit card
bill today that includes the charges for this CD + mailing charges. One
big problem...I have not received the CD. Who do I call or contact
about the status of my CD?

You get in touch with the same office that you ordered you CD from.

Note that the respondents in this newsgroup are NOT Microsoft employees.
They are independent people from the general PC community who try to answer
technical questions.

I fully understand that this newsgroup if NOT Microsoft employees. I
simply thought that some person on the group would know a phone number
that I could use to contact Microsoft. My order conformation message,
that I received from Microsoft, was from (e-mail address removed) and it
clearly states:

"Do not reply to this e-mail. This message was sent to you using an
automated system. This e-mail alias is not monitored for replies."

Thus, I am attempting to find some way to contact Microsoft about my
order. As I said, I thought there might be some person on this group
that could help me.

FYI, I found a phone number that eventually got to the right place at
Microsoft.

Since someone else may have a similar problem you may wish to share this
number with the rest of us.

The phone number used was:

1-800-360-7561 rpt 1-800-360-7561

The person answering the phone at this location stated that the 1-800
number above was the correct phone number to call for such order status
information. She said that my order had been shipped two days after my
order was placed. She then checked the status of my order with FEDEX
and found that it was pending delivery. Next, she stated that another
copy of my order would be placed in the system immediately. I
subsequently received confirmation via email of my new Order
Number...Order Status ID Code...and a web site where I could trace the
status of this order (using my new Order Status ID Code). By the way,
there was no charge ($) to me for this action.

I hope this information will help others having similar difficulties.

Go to http://store.microsoft.com/ and log into your account. You didn't
say from WHERE you ordered the CD. After logging in, is your order
listed and its status mentioned? Do they provide links to customer
service help when looking at your account?

They have a Contact Us link in their store's web pages. They take you
