How do I configure Yahoo as default email

I want to know how to configure OUTLOOK to recognize Yahoo as the default
email. I tried setting it up through Tools>Email >etc. But it did not work.
ANy trouble shooting help?

Do you mean you have a Yahoo! Plus account (one you pay for) and you want to
conect to Yahoo!'s POP server? Just add a POP account and enter your Yahoo!
username/password in the account and specify Yahoo!'s server names. If you
mean you have a free Yahoo! account, the answer is "you can't."
