How do I configure my BT Yahoo acct to work in Office Outlook 2003

BT doesn't support Outlook - and I cannot get all the settings right. When I
test the account settings (there's a wizard in BT Yahoo to set it up) I get a
confirmation email - so that's good. But the incoming email does not land in
Outlook. I currently have the LAN connection box checked which doesn't seem
right. If I compose an email in Outlook, it is sent OK, likewise if I do that
through bt.yahoo.com - just that every time Outlook (POP3 etc) doesn't
capture it.

Try playing with your authentication settings on the accounts tab.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

How, then, do you know it was sent?
