How do I completely empty the Contact List in Outlook?

I have tried to import my ACT database and only about 10% came in before I
got an error message. I tried again; same result. Now I have this 10%
duplicated. I want to empty the Contact list so that I can start with a clean
slate.

Using Windows XP and Outlook 2002

Help.
 
Go to the Contacts Folder, show it in a table - Phone List view is good
(turn on your Advanced Toolbars to see the current view and available views)
Highlight the lot and delete.

Table views are good to use right throughout Outlook.
