I am using Outlook 2003. I have the problem of the emails being stuck in the
Outbox for one user on the computer. No other users have this problem. I've
tried just about everything to fix this, but it won't go away. I was able to
set up the account in Outlook EXPRESS witout incident, but the user needs to
use OUTLOOK. I am resorting to delting the old account and setting it up all
over again.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to complete erradicate this
profile from the computer and rebuild it from scratch. I hope I don't need
to do an uninstall/reinstall, but if I must, I'll do it.

Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>Add

Brian:

I tried adding a new profile. Other than the user name, the settings
remained identical, obviously. However, when I tried to log on with this
newly-created profile, the old files (from the first account) show up in the
new one, including the same problem of the files being stuck in the outbox.

I've considered another option. We've only had this computer for 1 month so
there aren't a lot of new files on it. I thought of creating a new user. I
could then tranfer the files from the "old" user to the appropriate folders
with the "new" user and re-establish the outlook account under the "new" user.

Would this work?
