How do I change the file associations in IE6?

When I click on a link that is an MP3, it plays the clip in Quicktime in my
browser: I want it to play the clip using WindowsMedia Player.

This association problem seems to only be when using IE6 - when using
windows itself, clicking on a MP3 file will launch WMP to play it.

Hi Jack,

Download BHODemon and disable the QuickTime Plugin from loading with IE.
This should solve the problem.

Download it from:

Thanks for the reply.. I tried this, and it did not list QuickTime as a
Browser Helper Object installed in my browser. Listed a few, like, Norton
AV, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Google Toolbar, MyWebSearch toobar.. but no
Quicktime.

Any other suggestions?

Check the internet explorer\plugins directory and move the QT plugin to a
different path.
