How do I change settings on Microsoft Outlook 2002 to allow me to.

When I receive messages that have certain attachments such as .exe
attachments, I get a txt file instead which states that my attachment was
quarantined. I am aware that these attachments are safe, but somehow They
are filtered out.

Is there a security setting within Outlook 2002 that I can configure to
allow me to open and/or save these attachments?

Install Slovak's Attachment Options:

Are you sure this is an Outlook message? Outlook 2002 indeed blocks certain
types of attachments, but I don't believe it replaces them with a .txt file
or quarantines them. I'd say it's more likely this is antivirus software or
something else on the server you connect to - are you on an Exchange server?
Does your ISP do antivirus filtering?
