I was messing about with Style XP and found a theme that I liked but
unfortunately all my folder icons have now changed to these horrible
transparent blue ones which make me feel like I've got double vision.

So I wanted to know how can I change them back to the normal yellow ones?

Cheers.

Hi,

Control Panel/Folder Options/File types tab, scroll to "file folder" and
select it, then click "advanced". You can change the icon here, the default
is in the shell32.dll file under C:\Windows\system32.

Use StylesXP or Display Properties to change back to the default XP theme.

Hey Rick,

I tried what you suggested but it had no effect. I even tried changing the
icon to something completely different and then changing it back to the
yellow folder but it still came up blue.

Cheers.
