I upgraded from Outlook Express to Outlook 2003 and imported my messages from
Express to 2003, now some of them do not appear readable (russian). How can I
change encoding for the specific message?

ive been having the same problem lately. the only thing i could figure out
was to double click on the message, then change the character set manually:
view - change character set. the changes can be saved as well. i posted
questions in several places whether one can change the ch. set automatically,
but got no answer so far.

If it was a message sent from say YahooMail where system header says
"Western, iso-8850-1" even when text is Russian, you may not
be able to read such message without additional effort...

Just in case - how to work with Cyrillic(Russian) in MS Outlook 2000 and newer
is covered in the "Russian in Browsers/Mail/News" section of my site.
