I'm so blasted tired of having Arial 12 be the default font in Outlook! Can

Yes you can-- Tools>Options>Mail Format>Fonts button.

Hi Mary,
I have Outlook Express 6.0 and have set my default font in the Compose area
to Comic Sans 10pt but when I type it immediately goes to 12pt. How do I
stop this? Any suggestions?

You can also change the font of column headings etc -
View, Arrange by, Custom,Other settings.
