How do I change a read-only document?

When trying to save a word document to a CD-RW, I get a message saying that
the document is read-only. I am able to save any changes I make onto my hard
drive though. Micorsoft Word Help suggests that I save the document using a
different name. I tried that and I'm still unable to save it to a CD-RW.

Don't try saving directly from Word to a CD. Instead, save to your hard
drive, and when you're finished working on the document and have closed it in
Word, copy it to the CD using Windows Explorer or your CD mastering software.
Don't open the file directly from the CD either... copy it to your hard
drive, and open it there.

When you copy back to hd, right click the file and remove the read-only
attribute.
