How do I beam an outlook meeting from pc to pda?

I am trying to use the infrared connection to send an appointment from my
HP/Compaq nc6000 pc to my Sony Clie th-55. Can I do this and if so how.

Do your devices both support IRDA? Have you checked to see what you need to
do in the IRDA properties to beam an appointment?

For instance, on my Dell Axim, I canpress and hold on the appointment and
have the option to beam the appointment to another device or person. Have
you checked your documentation that came with each device for instruction?

It is a function of the device, not Outlook.
