I would like to know how to back up my whole entire pc so
that if there is a problem with the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32
\CONFIG\SYSTEM file or any of the alike, that I can pop
in a cd or type some command to a drive and retreive my
system? Any help or questions contact me at my email.

You'll need 3rd party software to back or image to multiple CD's. XP's backup utility does not provide for spanning CD's.

For most users, Windows XP system restore is enough. It will repair most
issues with system files such as your example. It does nothing to/for your
created files...

Having said that, you will have to invest in a third party software if you
wish to backup to CD. You can copy individual files to a cd with just
Windows XP and a CD Burner. However in order to make a complete copy of your
system as you inferred would require Something like Symantec Ghost. I must
point out that although this does full backups the reality is that by the
time you will (hopefully never) need to restore from this backup, So much
will have changed, you would likely be better off doing a repair install or
a clean install.
