- how do i back up my contacts in outlook?
- how do i import data from my palm address book into
outlook?
- when i go to my email address book, the names are
listed in alphabetical order according to FIRST name not
last. why? how do i change this?

To backup contacts:
Click on File > Import and Export.
Click "Export to a file" and click the Next button.
Click on "Comma Separated Values (Windows) and click the
Next button.
Click on your Contacts folder and click the Next button.
Click the Browse button to select where you want to save
the file. Type in the file name. Click Ok. Click Next.
Click Finish.

To import data from your Palm:
Install the Palm syncing software. I haven't used that in
a while, but I remember it's pretty straightforward. You
select what you want to sync and it does it automatically.

To change the way contacts are listed:
Click on Tools > Options.
Click on the Contact Options button.
Change those options to what you want. Click Ok. Click Ok.

Let me know if this answers your questions.

Just copy your PST to another folder. Everything (Contacts, Calendar,
Inbox, etc.) will then be duplicated. Put it on a CD or tape for
safe-keeping.

Your Palm should have come with a synch tool. Otherwise, use Google to
search for one.
