how do I attach spreadsheet in email

New to Excel Office 2007. How to attach spreadsheet into Mail? clicking
email attach button doesn't work/
 
Hi,

Where are you starting from? It works fine for me in Windows Live Mail, and
in my internet email system.

In Excel 2007 you can Office Button, Send, E-Mail which launches my default
email program.
 
Select the "funny little symbol" in the upper left hand corner, then "Send"
and then "Email" What part does not work.?
